Overall Evaluation: I researched plasma vs. lcd for the last year. My viewing habits tend toward sports, and I thought the plasma would be the best fit. This tv is fantastic. I have it in a very brightly lit room (wall of windows) and the colors are rich and the contrast is perfect. The blacks are really dark, and the colors really pop.I have this tv in a pretty small room (sofas are 8 and 13 feet away - and the tv is large but works great). Even sitting 5 feet away - and 45 degrees off angle, the picture is sharp.I have it paired with a OPPO BDP-83 Blu-ray and all I can say is the picture with this superb Blu-ray player is spectacular.I would recommend this tv for everyone. The colors pop like lcd without the jaggies an lcd has.Bought this from BUYDIG.COM and they shipped regular shipping to Long Island in four days (they stated it would be 7-10). Shipper was great and assisted with checking the tv out before he left.Great service, quick delivery, perfect TV. I also paid $1,549 with no tax or shipping costs - so it was also a great price.
